Soon after relocating to gorgeous southern Maryland, I became interested in the history of the Chesapeake Bay. This study led me directly to global piracy and the resulting international repercussions.
Two of my paintings of the Leavenworth Lifers, my fictional prison baseball team from the Depression era, were recently selected to be shown for the summer at the Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Art Center. The show was curated by Keri A. Towler, the Director of Collections at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.

This project picks up after the
climax of 'The Oath'.
With the setting located in the parched sand dunes of the Panhandle region of west Texas, we take a trip into the netherworld of the dispossessed farmers seeking both a steady job and self-respect.
